Amy snaps out of her daze and grabs the bat off the floor. The KILLER is down on one knee about to finish Marco, and Amy runs up and clobbers the KILLER in the side of the head. He falls to the side. Amy hits him again and again and again.
Soon, the KILLER's head is just a bloody pulp inside its mask. Marco stumbles to his feet and takes the bat from Amy. He then collapses, blood still pouring from the stumps where his hands used to be. Amy grabs some dishtowels from the kitchen and fashions some makeshift tourniquets and bandages. They both make it out the front door and stumble out into the night.
