Amy doesn't see Jenn in the living room, so she goes downstairs. Amy is well into the basement when she first sees everyone down there has been slaughtered. She screams, and then sees a man dressed in black wearing a cheap Halloween mask step into view. She screams again and bolts for the stairs, as the KILLER gives chase.
Amy rounds the corner and flies up the stairs, but they are open at the side and the KILLER manages to cleave off one of Amy's legs at the knee with his machete. Amy squeals in pain as she falls face-first onto the stairs. She tries to crawl the rest of the way, but the KILLER is soon on her and plunges his machete deep into her back.
