Lizzie comes to her friend's aid, with Amy in tow. Lizzie digs her fingernails into the KILLER's face underneath the mask, but he takes one hand off Diana's throat and backhands Lizzie across the face. She falls back against the wall hard. The KILLER resumes choking Diana and Amy can hear the bones cracking in her neck and the life leaving her eyes. Amy spies the knife sheathed in the KILLER's belt, quickly grabs it and jabs it in his neck.
He grunts and recoils, ripping the knife free. A stream of red arterial spray gushes across the wall, next to him. The KILLER charges Amy, and she falls backwards. The KILLER is on her in a flash, blood spilling onto her from the gaping wound in his neck.
Then Lizzie is there with the knife and repeatedly stabs the KILLER in the back until he stops moving. Amy scrambles out from beneath his dead body and huddles with Lizzie.Amy checks on Diana. She is unconscious, but still alive.
Lizzie calls the police and then carry their friend outside and collapse on the front lawn.
